APMS purpose built a Conveyor Drive Package for a 120 metre long, 950mm wide Conveyor operating with an incline of 15 degrees.The Conveyor Motor is 45kw, 4 pole 415 Volt, MEPS 2, High Efficiency. Flange Mounted unit. Our Sumitomo Paramax 9000 Series is Shaft Mounted, Double Reduction, Hollow Output Shaft, Bevel Helical Drive Gearbox fitted with an inbuilt Anti Run-Back and Flexible Coupling between Motor and input shaft offers 120 rpm output shaft speed. Sumitomo's Newly Designed high capacity cooling fan fitted on the input shaft offers a huge increase in the thermal capacity of the Gearbox range. With 24 sizes available the Sumitomo Paramax is ideally suited for rugged Mining applications. Whether it is for materials handling, mixing, agitating, crushing, cooling towers, filter presses etc, there is a Paramax available to fit the job. The Torque Arm assembly fitted to this conveyor drive offers full support of the overhung load, preventing fatigue in Bell Housings and Coupling damage. Sumitomo Mixer/Thickener Drives Specifications are: 0.75kw input, 4 pole 415v Motor on 6 metre Diameter Tank & .75kw input, 6 pole, 415v Motor on the 9 metre diameter tank. Reduction ratio on our Sumitomo Cyclodrive Agitator/Mixer Drive with inbuilt Torque Limiter (bi-directional) is 4437:1 offering 0.326rpm & 0.220rpm respectively. This unit offers 7,000nm of output torque (preset) for the application, if this value is exceeded the torque limiter will shut the drive down rather than cause any breakage. When the fault is found & cleared the process is started again. Sumitomo's torque limiters are field adjustable enabling the torque values to be altered from their preset value without factory parts or equipment replacement.
